The Nigerian music scene is buzzing once again, and it’s all thanks to the Koko Master himself, D’banj. This legendary artist, known for his infectious energy and groundbreaking hits, is back with a brand-new single titled “Koko.”
This fresh track is set to feature on his highly anticipated album, “The Entertainer: The Sequel.
A Nod to “Tongolo”
Long-time fans will recognize that “Koko” has roots in D’banj’s hit song “Tongolo” from his 2005 debut album, “No Long Thing,” produced by the legendary Don Jazzy.
It’s like catching up with an old friend who’s got some new tricks up their sleeve. D’banj himself has dubbed “Koko” the “new Koko anthem by D’banj,” and it’s easy to see why.
